INT. OUTSIDE ELEVATOR- DAY

Malvo walks in to  the elevator.

INT. INSIDE ELEVATOR- DAY

The lift door is closing. LESTER wedges his hand between
the door to force it open again and walks into the
elevator.

                    LESTER
          No. You don’t get to... I’m sorry

          to interrupt but it’s not right.
          When somethings not right, well
          the old Lester now he would have
          just er.. let it slide but not
          this guy.

          I’ve worked too hard. I’ve come
          too far

                    MALVO
          Lester stop.

                    LESTER
          Oh so you do know me. (Nods head)

                    MALVO
          Is this what you want?

                     MALVO
          Lester. Is this what you want?

          (Pause) Yes or No.

                     Yes
Malvo pulls out a gun and shoots.

                    LESTER

                    MALVO
                Thats on you.

Elevator door opens and Lester and Malvo look down an
empty hallway before the door closes again.

                     MALVO
          I worked this guy for 6 months

          Lester. 6 months. Can you imagine
          the number of sore bells I put my
          hands in? The gallons of human
          spit. Plus the hundred thousand
          dollar bounty down the toilet but
          er.. still the look on his face
          when I pulled the gun. Classic
          huh.

The elevator door opens. Malvo presses the bell.

                    MALVO
          Grab the guys feet. We’ll

          throw him in the dumpster.

Malvo bends down to grab the guys feet. Lester hits him
over the head with his award and runs out the elevator.

                    MALVO
                 Shit Lester

INT. HALLWAY- DAY
Lester sprints down the hallway

                    MALVO
          (Shouting) See you later Lester.
